********** I've
had a VERY busy start to my guitar-teaching year !! So good to see such a huge interest in learning the guitar ~ All available lessons
are now full, at both schools, Dominican & Our Lady Queen Of Peace. I have
some very keen & talented students, which makes it a great job for me
********** In
July I'm heading to the USA
for a much needed break....travelling to Texas, Memphis, Nashville, Boston,
Indiana, Chicago, New York...very groovy. Will be checking out first-hand where
the best music in the world is created !!
********* I'm still
working on finishing my EP of original tunes !! Time hasn't been my friend over the last few months, but I hope to finish
it soon ~ I have 'demo-ed' the songs ~ just gotta make time (!?) to finish them .......
********* I'm now
officially the newest member of "CHESTERFIELD BRASS" (local cover band)-
...which means gig-wise, I'm very busy !! I've done a few shows with them so far....We will be playing at the "Sea & Vines" Festival on the June long weekend too...
********* The BACKBEAT
shows at PJ O'Brien's (monthly) have been going awesome !! We've had some cool
crowds in there so far this year....have added a few new songs to our set list too.....Thanks to everybody who has come along
to check us out so far !!
********* "Elsie Out Of Africa" (the restaurant I play at monthly) has
re-located to Nile Street, Glenelg. It's a bigger premises,seating around 60
people ~ and they're nearly finished rennovating the NEW function room upstairs... The food is fantastic --- so come on down
one Sunday and check it (& me !) out. I play there on their "banquet" nights....usually the first Sunday of each month,
but check the "My Next Gig" link on this page, just to make sure.
